Jahangir Siddiqui (JS) Capital markets Ltd. Has been declared as Pakistan’s Best Equity brokerage House for the year 2004-05 by CFA Association of Pakistan. The award was announced in an Excellence Award Ceremony held in Karachi on Jan 25, 2006. The award was based on the response from the leading fund managers of the country that rated JS Capital market as the no 1 broker in terms of Research, Traders performance and execution and back office support. Mohammad Sohail, Head of Equity & Broking at JS Capital markets had been conferred the award of “Best Analyst” by CFA for the last two years.

JS Capital Markets is a subsidiary of Jahangir Siddiqui & Company Limited. The company started its formal operations in September 2003.Principal activities of the company include share brokerage, money market and foreign exchange brokerage, equity research, advisory and consultancy services. JS Capital Markets also is the winner of two Asiamoney awards, that of the “Best Domestic Bond House” and “Best Domestic Brokerage House” for the year 2004.
