JS Group is pleased to announce that Mr. Khaleeq Kayani has joined the Group as the Vice Chairman & Group CEO with effect from July 15th, 2005.

Mr. Kayani brings with him a rich and diversified professional experience of over 34 years with major international and domestic financial institutions.  This encompasses commercial and investment banking experience with two major international banks, Bank of America and American Express Bank for eighteen years; self–employed financial consultant for eight years and seven years with Habib Bank as SEVP and Group Executive.  From December 2004 until June 2005 Mr. Kayani was an Independent Director of the Karachi Stock Exchange (Guarantee) Limited.  His professional experience in the financial sector includes seventeen years of holding senior management positions.

In 2001, he successfully participated in the exclusive Stanford Executive Program, Stanford University’s premier program in advanced management education.  He is a Life Member of the Stanford Business School Alumni Association.

His demonstrated leadership capabilities at the senior management level coupled with his strong academic background shall provide JS Group with additional resource at that level.

Mr. Kayani will provide leadership and strategic direction to all JS Group companies so as to further accelerate their growth.  His diverse financial services expertise will be particularly useful in leading the growth process at JS Group’s financial services companies.
